Welcome

…to my garden…

Picture 005…poppies grown from seed given to us years ago by the good people at The Antique Rose Emporium

Picture 013 edit…scabiosa on the verge of blooming….love to watch these open…

Picture 039…the ruffled open bloom of scabiosa…

Picture 018 edit…’Belinda’s Dream’ rose…one of my favorites…drought tolerant…easy to care for… fragrant…large blooms…

Picture 020 edit…heavenly-scented sweet peas…10-12 in. stems…great for cutting…

Picture 029 edit …ferns emerging for the first time this season…planted by the previous owner of our house from transplants given to him by his grandmother…now I’m honored to be the caretaker of these ferns…

Picture 031 edit…nothing is more beautiful to me than the silvery cutwork leaves of dusty miller…

Picture 013 edit…Hinckley’s Columbine…so easy to grow…just needs a little shade…

Picture 002 edit…one of my great pleasures…picking sweet peas for the table in the morning and dropping them into one of my aqua glass bottles…

Picture 014 crop…and sweet peas for the living room…can never have too many sweet peas!

Picture 004…one of my favorite things about our yard this year…the planter on my porch…all greenery in the front…

Picture 003 edit…but a bird came along and built her nest in the back of the planter…

Picture 002 edit…and now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of 6 babies…

Hope your Easter weekend was a relaxing and enjoyable one. Thanks for stopping by today. I love sharing my flower whims with you…

Ugh--jealous! My sweet peas have never come up! Belinda's dream is one of my favorites too--Luke's Dad grows them and they smell so nice.

Good work, Amy!
