I love the buds as much as I love the open blooms…

I’ve used Lisianthus many times and almost always have someone mistake the open blooms for roses. The only two drawbacks to using lisianthus for me…they’re ethylene sensitive (which means they sometimes arrive in less than perfect condition) and the stems have a tendency to snap when handled too much. Nothing too problematic…

Anyone wire and tape lisianthus in wedding designs (bouquets and bouts)? I usually do…better than having the bloom snap off a boutonniere!

One of my favorite flowers too - especially the white one with the purple edge!

I LOVE love love that shot of the purple bouquets against the gray dresses: perfection! Lisianthus is a bit persnickety but totally worth it. :)
