I have almost completed the coursework in the floral design program at NYBG and am now looking for work opportunities to complete the 120 hour internship requirement for the certificate. I did not take the summer intensive program...the regular program has a rolling schedule so that you can jump in almost at any time go at what ever pace suits your schedule. The teachers are all professionals and are fantastic! The program focuses on what you need to know to start working, either in a shop or in your own business, and sound mechanics is a big part of what they teach. I have to credit this blog, along with the many designers who share their amazing work online and on blogs for inspiring me every day and challenging me to do more and more creative and beautiful work! Thank you all so much!
